Hello guys, I’m finally back.
Quite a lot has happened since I last posted: Skyrose’s host went to sh*t, *.info domains prize went up to ozone layer levels, PHP 5 went obsolete, I went into lazy vegetable mode….the perfect storm to make the site go abandoned for ages; but that’s all over, thank God, so I can “sit down” and write a proper entry; so without further ado, let’s roll.
First the new look: version 12 is called Rock band and, as the name says, features an image of one of my top 3 favorite rock bands of all time Linkin’ Park (I miss Chester so darn much TT_TT); I’ve had this stored on my HDD for ages and I’m quite giddy and excited I finally got to use it. I love it—but I’m biased—but let me know what ya all think.
Now for the news: as mentioned earlier in the post, the price of *.info domains skyrocketed (it’s currently around $20-24 a year, it was $10-13 when I opened Skyrose and Skyborn almost a decade ago), to the point I could no longer afford the renewal fees for the two domains and had to switch to much cheaper *.com names; I don’t wanna bore you with the details, let’s get straight to the point that Skyrose and Skyborn changed urls to the new ones Skyr0se.com and Skyb0rn.com.
Skyrose also changed host—the previous one was bought out and that pushed it into the s3wer—but luckily I was able to find a new one and the site is now back up and running 100% (it was actually reopened and updated just last week).
Gotta go now, as I need to watch me some Bridgerton (I have only the last two episodes of season 2 left to watch); see you all next time…with custom similies.
Everybody take care and have an amazing week-end.

yea i don’t know why they have upped the price its insane they are super cheap for like $2 to $3 and then when its time to renew its like really $20 bucks or more its crazy. As it is everything has gone up these days. but glad you were able to get .com its the way to go. When i got my .com i hated to add a zero in the name but the other way was taken so it sucked. but its different i have to say that lol. Got use to it. Anyways love your blog

Yea I’m used to it now. I just don’t use it in the header. But I can get to the domain. But yes .coms have gone up I believe that. But at least it’s for a year and not monthly.
