Hi guys, it’s been a life…more like 2 lifetimes. LOL
I don’t have any excuse to give for my absence, there is nothing by my laziness and constant procrastinating behind this….which is why I don’t even a new layout coming along with this post…I don’t have nothing except pretty major news.
Last year my long-time host WebHostFace was bought out by another provider. The new provider made the usal “nothing will change” promises, but as of today those promises have gotten less and less trustworthy and credible so I’ve decided to move all sites hosted there elsewhere. In short Skyborn will start this 2026 by moving to a new host; I’ve already picked the new host, but since my life is beyond hectic I don’t know when the move will happen nor when the site will come back online - I hope that’ll be before summer, but I can’t guarantee it.
So if you see the site suddenly disappear, don’t worry. It’s not gone, just moving houses. ^.^
Sorry for yet another objectively boring post, but this was important news that needed to be shared. See you all on reopening.
Take care guys, and have a wonderful day. ♥

Hi there guys, it's been a while. ^_^
I don't have much to talk about this time, I just wanted to "celebrate" the new version (something that's related to the title of this post) as it means something amazing.
First, though, let me introduce version 13 properly: called Lake Moon, it features a gorgeous moon over a lake (I think it's a moon...it looks like a moon to me...oh G0d... LOL) artwork I've had on my HDD/SSD for a very long time set upon one of my top favorite stylesheets; I'm super happy of how it turned out, and especially that I got to make it....and here we come to why it's reason to celebrate.
I've had this image stored on my first HDD then SSD for many, many years, I believe for almost as long as Skyborn has been open; during this long time I tried several times to make a design with it, but I always ended up discarding the results and going with other images....sometimes with premade layouts entirely. A few times I thought to chuck the image, as I was getting tired of it, but decided to keep it....which turned out to be the right decision as today, after many multiple years and fails, I finally got to make a worthy layout with it. I know objectively it's a very small thing, but after so many years and above all failed attmepts this feels like a prett big achievement to me....of which I'm quite proud, hence the celebration -- which is actually just the dedicated post. LOL
Sorry for the (probably) boring post, but I'm very giddy about this so I wanted to share this with you -- and remember, if you don't like the layout it's totally fine (constructive criticism is always welcome).
I have to go now, as I wanna see if I can manage to make some new tutorials for Skyrose; see you on next (proper) entry.
Take care guys, and have a wonderful Sunday. ♥

Hello guys, I'm finally back. :)
Quite a lot has happened since I last posted: Skyrose's host went to sh*t, *.info domains prize went up to ozone layer levels, PHP 5 went obsolete, I went into lazy vegetable mode....the perfect storm to make the site go abandoned for ages; but that's all over, thank God, so I can "sit down" and write a proper entry; so without further ado, let's roll.
First the new look: version 12 is called Rock band and, as the name says, features an image of one of my top 3 favorite rock bands of all time Linkin' Park (I miss Chester so darn much TT_TT); I've had this stored on my HDD for ages and I'm quite giddy and excited I finally got to use it. I love it - but I'm biased - but let me know what ya all think.
Now for the news: as mentioned earlier in the post, the price of *.info domains skyrocketed (it's currently around $20-24 a year, it was $10-13 when I opened Skyrose and Skyborn almost a decade ago), to the point I could no longer afford the renewal fees for the two domains and had to switch to much cheaper *.com names; I don't wanna bore you with the details, let's get straight to the point that Skyrose and Skyborn changed urls to the new ones Skyr0se.com and Skyb0rn.com.
Skyrose also changed host - the previous one was bought out and that pushed it into the s3wer - but luckily I was able to find a new one and the site is now back up and running 100% (it was actually reopened and updated just last week).
Gotta go now, as I need to watch me some Bridgerton (I have only the last two episodes of season 2 left to watch); see you all next time...with custom similies.
Everybody take care and have an amazing week-end. :D
